Eligibility Criteria
What You Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (MS is a plus)
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing, especially in networking
- Solid understanding of system specs and ability to design detailed test plans
- Strong programming skills in Python, C, or C++
- Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, etc.)
- Understanding of storage systems and SAN/Fiber Channel Protocols
- Bonus points if you know AI/ML tools or have worked with Openconfig, Netconf, YANG, etc.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure

This role is part of Cisco’s Intent-Based Networking Group (IBNG). You’ll work on test automation and manual testing for Cisco’s Nexus 9000 series Data Center switches. These switches are designed to provide agile, application-aware networking solutions that respond to changing application and virtual machine needs.
