DRDO Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2025:
Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentice – Engineering:
- A degree in engineering or technology is granted by a statutory university/institution that is empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament.
- Candidates must have qualifications in the following disciplines for the Graduate Apprentice Engineering post.
- Mechanical/Production/ Industrial Production
- Aeronautical/Aerospace
- Electricals & Electronics /Electronics & Communiication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/Telecom
- Computer Science/ Computer Engg./Information Science & Technology Engg.
- Metallurgy/Material Science
- Civil Engg. or Equivalent
Graduate Apprentice – Non-Engineering:
- A degree granted by a statutory University/an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament /Educational Institutes established by a State Government / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government.
- Candidates must have qualifications in the following Streams for the Graduate Apprentice Non-Engineering post.
- B.Com
- B.Sc. (Chemistry /Physics/ Maths/ Electronics / Computer etc.)
- B.A ((Finance/ Banking etc.)
- BCA
- BBA
Diploma/Technician Apprentice :
- A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government /by a University/by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma
- Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that they may hold a diploma in Engg./Technology.
- For the Diploma/Technician Apprentice post, candidates must have qualifications in the following Engg. disciplines.
- Mechanical/Production/Tool & Die design
- Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation
- Computer Science Engg/Computer Networking
ITI Apprentice:
- A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after completing the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education.
- A sandwich course student who is undergoing training so that he may hold a certificate mentioned above.
- For the Trade Apprentice(ITI) post, candidates must have qualifications in the following disciplines.
- Machinist
- Fitter
- Turner
- Electrician
- Welder
- Sheet Metal Worker
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)
DRDO Selection Process 2025 :
- The selection process includes Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview.
- Details of shortlisted candidates will be published on the DRDO website.
- Candidates must bring an attested copy of the documents mentioned & their original certificates along with the printout of the application form during document verification/joining.
